sarve’pyabhaya danasya kalam narhanti shodashim||

इच्छित वस्तु का दान, तप का आचरण, तीर्थसेवा, ज्ञान – ये सब अभयदान की शोभा के सोलहवें भाग जितने भी नहीं (अर्थात् अभयदान की कोई तुलना नहीं)।
English Meaning:

dattamiṣṭaṃ tapastaptaṃ tīrthasevā tathā śrutam।
sarve’pyabhaya dānasya kalāṃ nārhanti ṣoḍaśīm॥
Donation of desired things, conduct of austerity, pilgrimage service, wisdom – all these are not equal to the sixteenth part of the splendor of fearlessness (there is no comparison of fearlessness).
