ॐ आ ब्रह्मन् ब्राह्मणो ब्रह्मवर्चसी जायताम्
आराष्ट्रे राजन्यः शूर इषव्योऽतिव्याधी महारथो जायताम्
दोग्ध्री धेनुर्वोढानड्वानाशुः सप्तिः पुरन्धिर्योषा जिष्णू रथेष्ठाः
सभेयो युवास्य यजमानस्य वीरो जायताम्
निकामे निकामे नः पर्जन्यो वर्षतु फलवत्यो न ओषधयः
पच्यन्तां योगक्षेमो नः कल्पताम्॥

वैदिक राष्ट्रगान राष्ट्राभिवर्द्धन मंत्र शुक्ल यजुर्वेद हिंदी अर्थ:
हे ब्रह्म, हमारे देश में विद्वान समस्त वेद आदि ग्रंथों से दैदिव्य्मान उत्पन्न हों। शासक, पराक्रमी, शस्त्र में निपुण और शत्रुओं को अत्यंत पीड़ित करने वाले उत्पन्न हों। गौ, दुग्ध देने वाली और बैल भार ढोने वाला हो। घोड़ा शीघ्र चलने वाला और स्त्री बुद्धिमती उत्पन्न हो। प्रत्येक मनुष्य विजय प्राप्ति वाले स्वाभाव वाला, रथगामी और सभा प्रवीण हो। इस यज्ञकर्ता के घर विद्या, यौवन सम्पन्न और शत्रुओं को परे फेंकने वाले संतान उत्पन्न हों। हमारे देश के मेघ इच्छा-इच्छा पर बरसें और सभी औषधियां (अन्न) फल वाले होकर पकें। हमारे राष्ट्र के प्रत्येक मनुष्य का योग और क्षेम उसके उपभोग हेतु पर्याप्त हो।
English Meaning of Vedic National Anthem:
oṃ ā brahman brāhmaṇo brahmavarcasī jāyatām
ārāṣṭre rājanyaḥ śūra iṣavyo’tivyādhī mahāratho jāyatām
dogdhrī dhenurvoḍhānaḍvānāśuḥ saptiḥ purandhiryoṣā jiṣṇū ratheṣṭhāḥ
sabheyo yuvāsya yajamānasya vīro jāyatām
nikāme nikāme naḥ parjanyo varṣatu phalavatyo na oṣadhayaḥ
pacyantāṃ yogakṣemo naḥ kalpatām॥

O! Brahma(almighty), in our country the scholars should be born divine from all the Vedas and other texts. May rulers be mighty, skilled in weaponry and debates, and those who cause great suffering to the enemies. The cow should be the milker and the bull should be the loader. The horse runs fast and the woman is born intelligent. May every human being be victorious in nature, chariot-going (accomplished) and assembly proficient. In the house of this Yajna (sacrifice) performer, children who are full of knowledge, youth and throw away enemies should be born. Let the clouds of our country rain on desire of humans and all the cereals ripen as fruits. The capability to achieve and protect the resources of every human being in our nation should be sufficient for his consumption.
